What You’ll Be Doing
As a Collections Care Specialist, you are the face of Genesis in the field and at our partner sites. This role blends patient care, specimen collection, logistics, and relationship management.
No two days are the same—and that’s the point.
- Collect specimens (urine, blood, and other samples) with precision and professionalism
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered support during collections
- Use our LIS system (Genuin) for patient entry, orders, and documentation
- Prepare and manage collection kits and supplies
- Transport specimens safely as part of our medical courier workflow
- Serve as a key liaison between Genesis and partner healthcare providers
- Support site operations and growth across assigned locations

Requirements:- 1 year of direct patient care or customer service experience
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems (Genuin, EMR/EHR)
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Professional communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bonus Points If You Have
- Phlebotomy, CNA, or Medical Assistant certification
- Experience in specimen collection or lab environments
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
