Accountant
Position Overview
The Accountant is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial reporting services for Genesis PrimeCare, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial records in accordance with federal, state, local, and professional standards. This role prepares monthly financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses, and develops financial reports and presentations to support leadership decision-making.
The Accountant supports grant reporting, annual audits, tax filings, cost reports, and uniform data system reporting, while also assisting with budget preparation and special financial projects. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, this position provides guidance to accounting support staff, maintains strict confidentiality of financial and patient information, and promotes efficient, compliant, and timely financial operations across the organization.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
· Two to four years of Accounting experience
