Genesis of NW San Antonio is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing routine maintenance, and growing our state-of-the-art Service Department. The Automotive Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Genesis of NW San Antonio offers a 5-day work week, and all training hours are paid. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and parts personnel
- Complete vehicle services and/or repairs in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform quality checks on all work performed on vehicles
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Complete Genesis Training and certifications as needed to advance in career path
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

- 6 YEAR PLUS EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
