Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining commercial medical facilities across the Greater Houston area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties to ensure that our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Coordinate with contractors or specialists when needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and equipment logs
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in commercial building maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- HVAC certification a plus but not required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for emergencies.
