CRNP or Physician Assistant (#300)

Genesis Medical Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time licensed Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The role will be primarily based at Northern Area Family Medicine while also providing care at Passavant Retirement Community (PRC). This is a unique opportunity to work in both a family medicine setting and a retirement community, offering comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Contribute to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and recommending options and courses of action; implementing physician directives.
• Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
• Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
• Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care services by charting in patient EHR record in accordance with medical and legal requirements.
• Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
• Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams at both locations to ensure continuity of care.
• Offer compassionate care tailored to the needs of aging patients at PRC as well as doing hospital rounding.

Qualifications:

· Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Pennsylvania.

· At least 1 year experience in office clinic setting.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work independently while coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers.
