Role Description
This full-time role as an Echo and Vascular Ultrasound Technician is based on-site in Jefferson City and in Newport, TN. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily focusing on echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds. The technician will assess and document imaging findings, collaborate with medical staff, ensure patient comfort, maintain ultrasound equipment, and adhere to quality assurance protocols to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient care delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including Echo and Vascular Ultrasound
- Expertise in radiology and experience with vascular and abdominal imaging
- Certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required
- Strong foundation in medical knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment and interact professionally with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Healthcare experience with a focus on echo and vascular ultrasound imaging is preferred
