This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiation Therapist located in Zanesville, OH. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering precise radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Daily tasks include operating radiation therapy equipment, monitoring patients' conditions during treatment, and ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols. The Radiation Therapist will collaborate with the medical team to develop treatment plans and provide compassionate care to patients.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety and Dosimetry
- Understanding of Radiation principles and Medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
