Full-Stack .Net Senior Application Developer- Information Technology

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories LLC (MDL)is a member of the Genesis Global Group (GGG). GGG is a consortium of entities and institutes, in the fields of molecular biology, medicinal chemistry and biotechnology. Our mission is to improve the patient's quality of life by linking basic science and the development of diagnostic and pre-clinical treatments. We provide clinical laboratory services through a CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple state licensing. The laboratory specializes in state of the art; automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious diseases. Our GBG members are also engaged in research and development of complex genetic tests, screening for potential drugs and drug targets, clinical trials and other research and academic collaborations.

This is an on-site position.

Job responsibilities include:

• Lead and execute all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
• Develop, maintain, and support complex ASP.Net and VB.Net web applications with MySQL databases
• Lead technical design and architecture decisions for enterprise-level systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Provide strategic guidance on technology stack selection and evaluate emerging technologies for business impact.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing with detailed documentation.
• Manage and mentor in-house development team members, providing technical leadership and professional development guidance
• Perform advanced Database Administration functions including performance optimization and system monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop cross-platform mobile applications for iOS/Android platforms
• Integrate AI-powered development tools into team workflows to enhance productivity and code quality
• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
• Lead project planning and resource allocation for application development initiatives.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience with demonstrated technical leadership
• 5-7 years of progressive software development experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior developer role

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in ASP.Net and VB.Net web application development with modern development practices.
• Proven expertise with Entity Framework, .Net Core, Web API, and Angular for full-stack development
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools for software development, including:
• AI-powered code generation and completion platforms (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.)
• Automated testing and debugging assistance
• Machine learning model integration for business applications
• Expert-level experience with enterprise MySQL & Oracle databases, including architecture and optimization.
• Advanced database skills including complex stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning
• Comprehensive knowledge of database administration including backup methodologies, disaster recovery, query optimization, and system monitoring.
• Proficiency with Crystal Reports and/or Business Objects for enterprise reporting solutions
• Complete mastery of all SDLC phases with ability to adapt methodologies based on project requirements
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with systematic approach to complex technical challenges
• Experience with modern development tools including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements for enterprise applications

Leadership & Strategic Skills:

• Proven leadership experience managing development teams of 3 members
• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities with track record of developing junior developers
• Technology stack advisory experience with ability to evaluate and recommend solutions based on business needs.
• Project management capabilities including timeline estimation, resource planning, and risk management
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Highly Preferred:

• Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical data handling
• Automation and robotics system integration experience
• Agile/Scrum methodology certification and practical implementation experience
• DevOps practices experience including containerization and infrastructure as code
