Job Summary:
The Events Intern will work closely with the Events Coordinator and the Hospitality Department to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This internship provides hands-on experience in organizing and overseeing events from initial concept through post-event follow-up. The intern will gain practical knowledge of event operations, logistics, communication, and cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Support event setup, service, breakdown, and clean-up.
- Provide on-site support to ensure smooth event execution.
- Apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) during event planning and execution.
- Assist with post-event reports and evaluations.
- Draft and manage event-related communications.
- Prepare meeting agendas, documents, and background materials.
- Collect and organize materials for meetings and events.
- Collaborate with Hospitality, Marketing, and Creative teams.
- Participate in team meetings and support departmental projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications: General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
