Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance/Quality Control role based in Midland, TX. The QA/QC team member will perform daily inspections of materials, equipment, and work processes across oilfield, construction, and related service activities to verify compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting specifications and drawings, documenting inspection results, maintaining quality records, and reporting nonconformities. The role will participate in root cause analysis, support corrective and preventive actions, and assist in developing and updating quality procedures. The QA/QC professional will collaborate closely with operations, project management, and safety teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement on site.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including hands-on inspection, testing, and documentation of field work.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Management and Quality Auditing, with the ability to support internal audits and monitor compliance with company standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar industry quality frameworks and the ability to apply structured quality processes in operational environments.
- Relevant experience in oilfield, construction, industrial maintenance, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and support effective corrective actions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional field and project teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in QA/QC or related disciplines are preferred.
