Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Consultant to lead business process reengineering (BPR), usability enhancement, and data quality improvement initiatives within the Pricing and Costing for Utilities (PCU) environment. The consultant will evaluate current business workflows, streamline operations through SAP best practices, and enhance the SAP S/4HANA platform for optimal usability, data integrity, and organizational efficiency. Join our team and utilize SAP cloud technology to configure, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The S/4HANA Business Process Reengineering & Data Quality Consultant will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing SAP S/4HANA business processes, enhancing system usability and improving data quality. They will identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows to align with best practices, and implement data governance measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Duties will include but may not be limited to:
- Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
- Assess existing business and customer service workflows across billing, customer service, asset management, and reporting within SAP PCU.
- Document current-state processes, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and system pain points.
- Redesign business processes to align with SAP S/4HANA “best of class” functionality and minimize customization.
- Recommend and document process improvements natively supported by SAP S/4HANA.
- Deliver: Business Process Analysis Report, Future-State Process Maps, and an Implementation Roadmap for improved workflows.
- SAP S/4HANA Screen Modification & Usability Enhancement
- Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA vendors and internal stakeholders to adapt the system interface based on reengineered processes.
- Design and modify screens, transactions, and workflows to meet PCU’s web-based usability standards.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions across functional teams to validate and refine interface changes.
- Deliver: Updated SAP S/4HANA screen layouts, UAT feedback summary, and end-user training documentation.
- SAP S/4HANA Data Quality Improvement
- Perform data profiling and cleansing activities for customer, asset, billing, and financial datasets.
- Develop and implement ongoing data governance frameworks, including quality metrics (KPIs) and validation rules.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure sustained data integrity and prevent degradation.
- Deliver: Data Quality Assessment Report, Cleansed and Standardized Datasets, and Data Governance Policy Guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA in utilities, pricing, and costing modules.
- Strong expertise in business process reengineering, data quality management, and ERP usability enhancements.
- Knowledge of SAP standard configuration, integration, and workflow capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed documentation and deliver actionable process improvements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Required Certifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Certifications Preferred.
