SAP FI/CO/PS Solution Consultant

Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO/PS Solution Consultant to perform an SAP Assessment and initial solution design for a client in South Carolina. Join our team and utilize SAP solutions to analyze, design, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Our clients are some of the world’s leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Evaluation of Client’s existing environment to determine the feasibility of incorporating the remaining elements of department financial infrastructure into enterprise SAP landscape
  
• Analysis and benchmarking of other SAP customers of similar scope
  
• Review of current systems to determine functionality currently needed, as well as identifying additional requirements.
  
• Determination of what SAP modules can accommodate client’s requirements and what requires custom development.
  
• Determination of anticipated scope, schedule, and cost for potential transformation
  
• Understand business needs and requirements, and to help develop and maintain the client relationship
  
• Build stakeholder consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can understand the solution being proposed
  
• Propose high level solution architecture, with emphasis on integration architecture for SAP ECC6.0 Project Systems, Capital Projects, Federal Project Budgeting and Costing, Project Billing
  
• Document opportunities to optimize SAP solution using SAP user-experience tools
  
• Manage the flow of cost and revenue including assignment and management of cost and activity planning functions assignment and management of overhead allocation functions
  
• View actual costs by cost object (cost center internal order WBS etc.)
  
• View/manage variances between planned cost and actual cost
  
• Performs system-wide analysis regarding the allocation of enterprise application functions
  
• Prepare and make presentations using MS PowerPoint and Visio to project stakeholders and management
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 

• Minimum 5 years of full lifecycle, Systems Integration, SAP implementation experience
  
• 5-7 years’ experience in SAP FI, CO, and PS modules
  
• Ability to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design.
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills and knowledge of SAP financial functional areas especially SAP PS,CO, WBS and Billing.
  
• Experience designing/configuring business processes in SAP CO, PS and FI
  
• Candidate must have expertise with Public Sector Department of Transportation and FHWA Billing to integrate functionality
  
• Experience in project structures, costing and funding, resource related billing and revenue recognition
  
• 4 Years of design facilitation and leading Design Thinking sessions
  
• Experience performing SAP Assessments, formulating alternative analysis and creating target solution roadmaps and architectures based on client future capability analysis 
  

Minimum Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree – Required
  
• Master’s Degree - Preferred 
  

Required Certifications: 

• SAP Certified Solution Consultant - Preferred
  
• SAP, SAFe, CSM certifications desired 
  

Other: 

• Remote until Jan 2021; 1 week per month travel there after
