Overview: Work alongside the Pre-owned Sales Manager and assist in the day-to-day operations of the used vehicle department.
Essential Duties:
- Verify exact miles on appraisals and park appraisals in designated area.
- Place vital documents in all inventory vehicles such as buyer’s guides, stickers, and hang tags.
- Manage the company’s reconditioning tracking software for all inventory.
- Create inventory records in vAuto and Rapid Recon at time of acquisition.
- Write vehicle descriptions, select appropriate options for vehicle bookout, and add tracking tags.
- Creating vehicle stock jackets at time of acquisition with payoff, appraisal, and CarFax info.
- Tagging keys of all acquired vehicles.
- Photographing all appraisals and inventory via the Provision app as needed.
- Manage vehicles with missing photos for outside photos vendor.
- Assist in directing vehicle flow for reconditioning processes (e.g. from service to outside detail)
- Generate purchase orders for collision center and other outside vendors.
- Complete lot management for organization, compliance, and cleanliness
- Transport vehicles to and from outside vendors, service, and collision center.
- Publish vehicles when reconditioning is complete.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Any other task(s) as assigned or required.
Monday and Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00PM and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
