Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, courtesy, and enthusiasm.
- Provide accurate information regarding health insurance plans, medical procedures, and healthcare services.
- Assist clients with navigating electronic health records (EHR) systems and electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support patients and healthcare providers by answering questions related to medical terminology, billing, appointments, and insurance coverage.
- Document all interactions thoroughly using Microsoft Office tools and data entry systems while maintaining meticulous records.
- Troubleshoot client issues promptly by analyzing problems, offering solutions, and escalating complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language; strong bilingual communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in a call center environment or healthcare support role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with EMR/EHR management systems.
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing speed, and technical proficiency in handling various software tools.
- Knowledge of health insurance policies, medical terminology, and healthcare processes is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with problem-solving abilities to address client concerns effectively.
- Excellent phone call management skills including call handling, phone etiquette, and active listening.
- Ability to analyze situations quickly, adapt communication style accordingly, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
