Maintenance Director Role
The Maintenance Director plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients and residents by providing well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing surroundings. This highly visible position requires direct reporting to the Nursing Home Administrator and includes the following responsibilities:
- Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems
- Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff
- Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents
- Maintains required records and reports performs budget planning
- Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks
Qualifications
To be successful as a Maintenance Director, you will need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems
- Prior supervisory experience
