(NECR) Palmer, MA 010690000, USA Job Details Description SUMMARY: The person in this position operates truck/equipment as part of a crew to build, repair, or maintain track. Will be required to assist crews performing trackwork as needed. Perform minor maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to operated vehicles as needed. This is a field position with potential for travel to be required. Required work hours may include a nonstandard work week and overtime – including call outs. Must carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, safety procedures, and applicable laws. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate truck/equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures Perform and document truck/equipment safety and maintenance checks Report any/all defects or needed repairs to supervisor Participate in job briefings and understand daily production goals Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments to truck/equipment as needed Fill out and maintain required regulatory forms Promote a safe and drug-free working environment Manage other projects and perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Valid CDL class B with air brake endorsement Hold any/all state and federally required certification(s)/license(s) to operate grapple truck and associated equipment. Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL class A license to accommodate any desire of Carrier to add vehicles/equipment to the work fleet This position is employed by the specific entity set forth in the job posting.
