Responsibilities
- Inspect rail tank cars to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Work in all weather conditions exposed to the outside elements
- Connect/disconnect loading arms from tank cars
- Complete all required paperwork timely & accurately
- Able to complete daily tasks while wearing all required PPE including Fire Resistant (FR) clothing
- Use basic tools including pipe wrenches, hammers, etc.
- Enter in numerical loading targets into micro-loads/multi-loads
- Lower/raise loading rack fall protection cages
- Use radios to communicate rail loading progress to Yard Masters
- Trouble shoot/identify loading process difficulties
- Two years of work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Ability to work in a 24/7 work environment in outdoor working conditions
- High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Experience with heavy hand tools, and previous work in an outside environment a plus
