Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on site while upholding company policies and procedures.
Duties
- Responsible for completing daily assignments as directed by the security director or mall manager.
- These assignments include hourly inspections of the interior and exterior of the facility, ensuring that secured areas remain secured, watching for suspicious or criminal activity.
- Welcoming guests with a friendly face as a representative of our company.
- Assisting guests and tenants with questions or complaints
- Handling all calls and situations with professionalism.
- Completing incident reports as required for incidents that occur.
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the security director, mall manager or supervisor on site.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate the English language.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Outlook Email
- Must have strong listening and communication skills
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be able to climb stairs, stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle (valid Drivers license is required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.73 per hour
