Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate oils and filters while adhering to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions confidently
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tire installations, vehicle maintenance, or repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic understanding of automotive systems such as brakes, suspension, and engines is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
