Job Description:
Genesco Sports Enterprises is seeking a creative, results-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized individual to join our team. We're looking for someone who is highly communicative and fluent in both English and Spanish. This role will be pivotal in two core areas:
Firstly, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day management of our clients' Soccer and U.S. Hispanic Sports Marketing initiatives. This includes direct engagement with our brand clients and their partners – such as leagues, team properties, talent representatives, and agencies – to activate best-in-class sports marketing programs.
Secondly, you will contribute to the strategic growth of the GSE Deportes client portfolio. This involves supporting initiatives that aim to expand our reach and impact within both the U.S. Hispanic market and the broader U.S. soccer landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to long-range strategy and direction of clients’ Soccer & Hispanic Marketing Initiatives
• Manage day-to-day communication with sports properties and talent/agents
• Proactively deliver solutions against client priorities and opportunities
• Liaise between the client and the national and local sports properties
• Cultivate relationships, gaining trust and respect, and facilitate efficient, transparent communication with clients’ cross-functional partners
• Prepare research, competitive analysis, and POV’s for strategic partnerships & targets within the US-Hispanic landscape
• Create and manage project timelines and work streams, ensuring timely delivery of client deliverables
• Monitor national, regional, and local competitive landscape
• Lead key client-facing status
• Manage the approval process of POS, television, radio, digital, and other promotional materials utilizing partner IPs
• Coordinate the planning and execution of all Athlete Production Dates, Appearances, Meet and Greets, and other activities leveraging contractual assets
• Prepare weekly status updates for client meetings
Requirements:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to relocate to Charlotte, NC
• A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience within the U.S. Hispanic sports industry and/or the U.S. soccer landscape.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups.
• Excellent time management, written, and oral communication skills.
• Positive and helpful attitude
• Must be able to attend key meetings and events, possibly including holidays and/or in excess of 40 hours per week.
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
