Position Details: Sr Cloud Engineer, Product Technology- San Diego CA Location : San Diego CA 92121 Project Duration : 6 Months (Contract to hire) Pay rate : $60-$67 per hour on W2
The Opportunity

- This role is within the ARDx Cloud and Connectivity group, working on connected and data solutions.
What you'll do:
- Agile Execution: Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule
- Architectural Contributions: Own design and architecture on individual software components and/or subsystems
- Documentation: Summarizes and presents details of designs in collaborative design reviews
- Security and Compliance: Follows all Abbott software coding standards and processes.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor s degree in an engineering discipline with 5 years of experience, or a Master s degree with 3 years of experience.
- Ability to come on site 5 days a week, San Diego office.
- Must have at least 2, prefer 3:
- Strong knowledge of micro services, RESTful, APIs, and Event-Driven Architectures
- Proficiency in python 3.8
- Hands on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Hands on experience with both relational and non-relationship databases
- Experience with Development environment: Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git.
- Good understanding of Authentication\Authorization and OAuth 2.0\Open ID Connect standards.
