This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Test Architect located in Dallas, TX. The Automation Test Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role will include leading the automation testing process, developing test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The Automation Test Architect will also provide mentorship to junior team members while contributing to the continuous improvement of automation strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Expertise in testing methodologies, developing test plans, and creating test cases
- Experience in Performance Testing, API Testing, and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to analyze and identify issues in software applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within the testing or QA domain is a plus
