What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Design Engineer position at Genergy Manufacturing?
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks CAD Designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate would be able to work under minimal supervision carrying out a variety of moderately complex assignments to complex assignments with minimal oversight. This candidate would be able to prepare layout drawings, detailed designs, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric schematics for our machines using SolidWorks software. We do not believe this candidate has to possess a degree, but we think our ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years’ experience working with SolidWorks and have experience working with assemblies within SolidWorks.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and manage all design documents, including creating and updating documentation packages.
- Communicate well with vendors and other members of the Genergy Team
- Communicate clear design intent through documentation (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Email, Etc.)
- Self-motivated to handle a project with minimal initial direction
