About the Role:
Generator Supercenter of Pensacola is looking for a motivated Install Helper/Apprentice to join our growing team in Pensacola, FL! Responsibilities:
- Assist lead technicians with the installation of residential and commercial standby generators
- Help with running conduit, wiring, and making electrical connections under supervision
- Assist with the placement and mounting of generator units and transfer switches
- Load, transport, and unload tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Support lead technicians with troubleshooting and service calls as needed
Requirements:
- No prior experience required — willingness to learn electrical and generator installation is a must
- Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive team-player attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in various weather conditions
