Education:
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading the marketing and sales efforts within the assigned region and influencing the workflow of the sales teams with the goal of achieving and exceeding budgeted occupancy goals. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates the Generation’s mission, vision, and values in the daily work and interactions with others.
Scope Of Job Tasks
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provides coaching and training on Generation’s sales standards and sales first culture
- Lead community teams in developing quarterly community’s sales and marketing plan.
- Participate in sales and marketing education as appropriate
- Monitor, manage and audit CRM database to ensure compliance with sales standards
- Provides tour training for community teams as needed on a regular basis
- Partner with, train, and influence the direct workflow of the sales team in each assigned community
- Assess the performance and effectiveness of the Sales Directors, Sales Associates and Move-in Coordinators and provide regular feedback to supervisor
- Ability to deal sensitively with difficult conversations and confidential material
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Make sales calls to referral sources, potential residents, and other local resources as needed
- Create and conduct sales and educational presentations for business partners as needed
- Generate business by creating new relationships and cultivating current relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing (or related field) is highly desired
- Previous experience in senior living is highly desired
- Previous supervisory/management experience highly desired
- Previous Experience with CRM (WelcomeHome preferred.)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledgeable of the rules, regulations and guidelines that govern assisted living facilities
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances
- Sufficient computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and /or Internet to perform required duties
- Works closely with and supports community sales teams. Is available on an ongoing basis as a resource. Consistently influences efficient workflow and sales behaviors, reviews the work and results of each sales team. Coaches and provides Executive Director regular feedback on performance both verbal and written and provides ongoing training as appropriate.
