The Regional Nurse works with the community clinical support teams to assist in assuring that the quality of care and clinical standards are maintained at all Generations communities. Comlies with all federal, state, and local regulations. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into ther daily work and interactions with others.

SCOPE OF JOB TASKS:

  • Responsible and accountable for supporting the quality assurance pre-survey/Quality Enhancement process performed in each facility site annually.
  • Assists in the development, revision, review and rollout of policies and procedures of the clinical departments of the communities.
  • Performs systems review and system implementation in new community acquisitions.
  • Conducts trainings and programs to meet the ongoing needs of the clinical teams at the communities.
  • Communicates risks and concerns to community and Generations leadership including but not limited to Sr. ED, Director of Clinical Services for Generations, Regional Director of Operations.
  • May be assigned additional duties as needed. 

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse  in the states assigned to support.  May be asked to obtain licensure in other states that Generations operates in.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the area of, policy and procedure development, education and training in healthcare in which three (3) of those years are specific to the area to be supported (ALF, MC and/or Post-Acute).
  • Must be able to be self-directed.

Working Conditions: 

  • Time in spent in an office setting as well as the community setting for observations, trainings, and assessments.
  • Must have the ability to travel 75% of time.
  • Must have the ability to travel long distance by plane and/or vehicle.
  • Must have the ability to have overnight stays with travel and may be required to travel outside of normal business hours.
