What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver in Assisted Living & Memory Care position at Generations?
Caregivers at Cherrywood Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:
- Full-time in Memory Care, Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10:00 pm - 6:15 am
- Part-time in Assisted Living, Sundays from 6:00 am - 2:15 pm and Mondays & Tuesdays from 2:00 pm - 10:15 pm
- Full-time in Assisted Living, Sundays through Thursdays, from 2:00 pm - 10:15 pm
- Full-time in Assisted Living, Fridays through Tuesdays, from 10:00 pm - 6:15 am
- 8-Hour Shifts
- Holiday availability preferred
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient
