Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Utilize telehealth services for remote patient consultations
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Experience in providing care across the lifespan, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and occupational health
- Proficiency in conducting sonography for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to perform triage and make critical decisions in emergency situations
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
- Strong communication skills for health coaching and patient education
