What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Practice Therapist - Counselor position at Generations Psychiatry Services?
We are a growing private practice seeking a compassionate, licensed therapist to join our team on a part-time basis (10/ 15 clients per week minimum). This position offers a hybrid schedule with flexible hours, including at least 10 in-person hours per week with one evening in our Branford, CT office.
We are currently seeking a therapist to provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Experience and willingness to work with children are required for this position. The role requires in-person clinical appointments, including one evening per week (excluding Tuesdays).

$55- $60 per client
Responsibilities:- Conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Developing individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives
- Offer community resources or specialists when needed
- Providing crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborating with APRNs when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
- Following up with patients as clinically indicated
- Ability to commute to Branford, CT
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.
- Pre-licensed clinicians (LMSW, MFT's, PC's) will be considered; however, clinical supervision is not provided (supervision is limited to note sign-off only. Outside supervision required if license requires it)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
