Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN. Generations Plus, a leading provider of adult medical day care, is seeking a LPN for our afternoon program. Monday - Friday, no weekends!. This is a 30-hour-per-week position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The LPN, must be knowledgeable in carrying out the plan of care, be professional and customer service oriented. Bilingual, Spanish/English a plus but not required. LPN
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must possess a current New Jersey license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, in the state of New Jersey
- The Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, must also be a self starter, be professional and customer service oriented.
- Bilingual, Spanish/English a plus but not required.
- Local candidates near Pennsauken, NJ only!!
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/RN.
- Check and record vital signs, blood glucose, weight, pain level, skin condition, and other ordered clinical measurements.
- Monitor participants for changes in physical, cognitive, behavioral, and nutritional status; promptly report significant changes to the RN.
- Implement the nursing portion of each participant’s individualized plan of care.
- Respond to falls, injuries, illness, hypoglycemia, breathing difficulties, and other emergencies; provide first aid/CPR and activate EMS when indicated.
- Complete timely nursing notes, treatment records, incident reports, and other required clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control procedures, including hand hygiene, PPE, communicable-disease precautions, and equipment cleaning.
- Assist participants with ADLs, transfers, toileting, feeding, and mobility when nursing assistance is required.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
