Role Description
This full-time, on-site Mental Health Worker role is based in the Santa Barbara-Santa Maria area. Responsibilities include supporting mental health care for residents, conducting case evaluations, implementing care plans, coordinating resources, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves fostering a supportive environment, ensuring residents' psychosocial well-being, and participating in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Familiarity or experience in Social Work and Case Management
- Background in Psychology or Mental Health
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to providing care
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare, social services, or mental health setting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, or a related area is preferred
