Licensed Psychiatric Tech (LPT)/LVN
Claremont, CA
Per Diem- AM Shift- 12hrs
Wage: $36-$42/hr DOE
Claremont Hacienda is looking to hire LPT/LVN's to their team. This facility is a part of Generations Healthcare and their newest MHRC.
Essential Functions
Monitors the residents’ physical and emotional well-being and reports unusual behavior or physical needs to nursing supervisors.
Observes and influences residents’ behavior, communicating and interacting with them.
Administers medications within licensure standards; record medications and document accordingly.
Encourages residents to participate in social, recreational and interpersonal activities.
Collaborate with therapists as needed to work collaboratively with residents on their well-being and recovery.
Develops and teaches strategies to promote wellness and independence.
Utilizes methods to de-escalate aggressive behavior.
Assists C.N.A.s in ADLs.
Participates in admission, care conferences, and discharges as necessary.
Reflects and models safe working habits to create safe workplace and home environment for staff and residents.
Observes and follows policy and laws relating to HIPAA, resident rights, and any other required mandates.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as LPT in this state.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
