Duties
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting deliveries using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for timely dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate quick order picking.
- Use warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or MRP software) to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing.
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while maintaining quality standards for shipping & receiving.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse distribution efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or MRP software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures including picking & packing, order picking, and stock replenishment.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments efficiently.
- Knowledge of e-commerce logistics workflows is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
