Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Loader / Unloader to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments, ensuring the safe handling of materials, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using various heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and RF scanners to handle materials efficiently.
• Perform order picking with handheld scanners to accurately select items for shipment or inventory replenishment.
• Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch.
• Organize materials within the warehouse using proper stacking techniques and palletizing methods to optimize space.
• Assist with inventory management tasks within the warehouse management system (WMS), ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining safety protocols to prevent injuries.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and conducting routine equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on process improvements and participate in safety training sessions related to OSHA regulations and mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling techniques.
• Experience with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety is required.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand or walk for extended periods throughout shifts.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail during order picking and load/unload activities.
• Warehouse supervisor experience or prior roles involving team coordination are advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in this fast-paced role where your energy makes a difference! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
