On-Call Esthetician – Contract Position | Multiple Openings

Looking to earn extra income doing the work you already love? Generations Wellness Center in Cary, NC is looking to add 1 to 3 licensed estheticians to our on-call team — and we've structured this position specifically to fit around your existing schedule.

No minimum hours. No set shifts. Just show up when patients are booked, do exceptional work, and get paid per patient. It's that simple.

We are a small, but growing,laser-focused wellness center specializing in advanced, energy-based and technology-driven treatments designed to help our patients look, feel, and live at their best.

HOW IT WORKS

Every 2 to 3 months, you submit your availability for any of the hours in an upcoming scheduling period within the following coverage windows (More hours could open depending on the patient load as we grow):

• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Monday – Friday (Evenings): 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

If patients are scheduled during your available hours, you come in and get paid. If not, your time is completely your own. There are no obligations, no minimum commitments, and no wasted time.

COMPENSATION

$25–$30 per patient – contract basis, commensurate with experience

PRIMARY SERVICES PERFORMED

As part of our on-call esthetician team, you will be performing the following treatments:

• HydraFacial™ – A non-invasive, multi-step treatment that combines deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration using a patented vortex wand. Customizable serums address specific concerns such as fine lines, hyperpigmentation, acne, and dullness. Suitable for all skin types with no downtime.
• OxyGeneo Facial – A 3-in-1 super facial that exfoliates the skin's surface, triggers the body's natural oxygenation response (the Bohr Effect) to increase blood flow and nutrient absorption, and infuses the skin with revitalizing active ingredients. Delivers immediate results for brighter, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.
• triLIFT by Lumenis – A non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment using Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMStm) technology to tone, lift, and restore facial contours. Particularly beneficial for patients experiencing facial volume and muscle loss associated with GLP-1 weight loss medications ("Ozempic Face"), helping to restore a lifted, youthful appearance without surgery or anesthesia.
• ADVATx Laser – A dual-wavelength, FDA-cleared solid-state laser combining 589 nm yellow light and 1319 nm infrared light. The yellow wavelength targets vascular redness, rosacea, and small vessels, while the infrared wavelength penetrates deeper to stimulate collagen production and regulate oil production. Effective for treating acne, acne scarring, melasma, pigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation — with no downtime and no bruising.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Generations Wellness Center our laser specialists and nursing staff offer a comprehensive range of advanced treatments powered by our Fotona SP Dynamis and Fotona StarFormer platforms. We require that all team members have a basic working knowledge of the treatments we provide so they can speak knowledgeably with patients and support the overall patient experience. These include:

Familiarity with these services will be discussed during onboarding. A willingness to learn and engage with our full treatment menu is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, valid esthetician license
• Demonstrated hands-on experience performing advanced facial treatments
• Prior experience with HydraFacial, OxyGeneo, triLIFT, and/or ADVATx equipment strongly preferred. Training will be provided for treatment protocols.
• Comfort working in a medical-grade, laser-focused wellness environment
• Reliable availability within your requested work windows
• Professional demeanor, strong patient communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping people look and feel their best
