Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Home Visitor located in Greensboro, NC. The Nurse Home Visitor will be responsible for delivering home-based health education and support services to expectant and new mothers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting home visits, assessing the health needs of families, providing personalized care plans, educating families on health and wellness, and coordinating with other healthcare and social service providers.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Experience in maternal and child health, home visiting, or community health settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse family backgrounds
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Associate degree in Nursing accepted but bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
