Job Description

We need a full-time Floating Shift Lead who can hit the ground running. Shift Leads are the Junior Leaders of the retail store and work closely with Store Leaders and are trained in Store Leaders duties and directives. When necessary, Shift Leads step in and run the store if the Store Leader is having their attention and focus put on leadership projects and objectives. The Floating Shift Lead is integral to our success as they work across multiple stores as well as different business units to fill in gaps in scheduling as needed. When not needed at the retail stores, our Floating Shift Leads take on special projects to fulfill full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a “guest comes first” environment through training and holding team members
• Accountable for providing wow-ful guest service to every guest
• Converse with guests to understand their needs and the needs of the local community
• Lead by example to promote the culture, values, and mission of Gen V and Grateful Green
• Manage guest conflicts calmly and effectively
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and programs as well as by finding new, creative, and effective methods of recognition (well placed ‘Atta-boys’).
• Ensure team members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
• Identify potential issues and prioritize communications to management team
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers in the surrounding area
• Challenge and inspire team members to achieve retail results
• Brainstorm and implement programs to increase sales and/or improve store operations
• Reconcile nightly cash drops
• Crosstrain across business units and stay up to date on product information for both
• Complete competitive analysis of local stores and submit reports to Leadership
• Receive, split, and pack inventory orders for our retail stores when needed
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or guest service experience
• Management experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Flexible schedule with the ability to pick up shifts on short notice
• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Proven track record of excellence
