Role Overview
As a Regional Director, you will serve as a coach, strategic thought partner, connector, and ambassador in a particular state or region. You will leverage your educational leadership expertise and network to provide support to school and district administrators, build relationships, and introduce Generation Ready to new districts to help expand our impact nationwide. This role reports to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a regional liaison and thought leader, representing Generation Ready in your geographic area
- Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with district leaders (superintendents, assistant superintendents, curriculum heads, instructional leadership teams)
- Facilitate exploratory conversations, lead discovery meetings, and support contract development
- Support project scoping, planning, and fidelity of partnerships in districts you help originate
- Provide feedback to our executive team on market trends
- Contribute to strategic planning and growth in your region
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Former or current Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or equivalent senior central office leadership role
- Deep knowledge of district-level operations, instructional systems, and change management in K–12, and including and on a granular level, in your region
- Established networks and credibility with district-level decision makers in your region
- Strong communicator and presenter; skilled in building trust, negotiating, and influencing
- Comfortable working independently and remotely; entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel within your region (when needed)
- Track record of leading or supporting district partnerships, innovation, or growth efforts
