Position Overview
Generation Next Life is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals who are passionate about working with youth in the mental health field.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide supervision, mentorship, and daily support to adolescents residing in a therapeutic home setting. Staff play a critical role in helping residents develop healthy coping skills, improve social interactions, and achieve personal goals within a structured and supportive environment.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling, education, criminal justice, or human services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic living environment.
- Supervise and support adolescents in daily activities and routines.
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution.
- Implement individualized treatment and person-centered plans.
- Teach and reinforce social, coping, and independent living skills.
- Transport residents to appointments, school, and community activities as needed.
- Complete required documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Monitor resident health, safety, and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and treatment team members.
- Prepare meals and assist with household responsibilities.
- Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
Schedule
We are actively hiring for:
- Overnight Shifts
- Weekend Shifts

Shift Options:
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Compensation
Pay: $13.50–$14.00 per hour

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work overnight and/or weekend shifts
Preferred:
- Experience working in residential treatment, group homes, behavioral health, mental health, youth services, education, or human services
