What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Assistant Teacher position at Generation Church Arizona?
The Daycare Assistant Teacher is available throughout the week to meet with parents and staff. They will manage the curriculum for the infant classroom. They create a safe environment for the children and maintain a professional relationship and confidentiality with the parents of the children. We are looking for a teacher who creates a fun atmosphere and loves engaging with kids in hands-on learning.
Reports to: Daycare Director
The Ideal Candidate
- Exemplifies a life of following, serving, and honoring Jesus.
- Excited about the vision and mission of Generation Church.
- Possess a history of successful team building.
- Childcare experience.
- Ability to react to change quickly and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, requiring minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership, values, and doctrinal beliefs of Generation Church.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working at a school or with young children/infants.
- Fingerprint card clearance.
- CPR Certification.
