CNC Operator – General Woodworking, Inc.
General Woodworking, Inc. is hiring a CNC Operator to join our team. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in producing quality work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
- Load materials and run CNC programs according to job specifications
- Read and understand shop drawings, measurements, and work orders
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain proper dimensions and quality
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work with other team members to meet production schedules
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred
- Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic dimensions
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials throughout the shift
- Willingness to learn our equipment, processes, and quality standards

Pay: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Some Saturdays & overtime required.
Location: Lowell, MA
