What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (Non CDL) position at General Wholesale Company-Augusta GA?
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes daily
- Follow routes and time schedule
- At each delivery stop make sure the products are stocked on the shelves if asked by customer to do so.
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Make sure each invoice gets signed by customer upon completion of each delivery and make sure to collect the proper payment for each delivery.
- Complete driver paperwork on completion of the route each day.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree or GED
- Medical DOT card
