Alarm Technician – Full-Time

Position Overview:
General Surveillance is seeking a skilled, experienced, and motivated alarm technician to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you’ll install and service cutting-edge security systems, fire alarms, access control, and CCTV surveillance systems across a variety of commercial and retail locations. We provide a fully stocked company vehicle and ongoing technical support to ensure your success in the field. This position is during normal business hours. (8:30am-5pm typical)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot: intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV video surveillance systems
- Deliver high-quality service to commercial and retail clients
- Collaborate with tech support and stay current with new technologies
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in the security system industry
- 3-5 years experience with electronics or electrical systems
- Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/trade school preferred)
- NICET certification is strongly valued
