Kiln Fireman – Night Shift

General Shale Brick, a leading brand of General Shale, Inc., is seeking a Kiln Fireman to join our manufacturing facility in Stanton, Kentucky. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor kiln computers and associated control systems to ensure proper operation
- Inspect kiln components and document any issues or irregularities
- Check loaded kiln cars entering and exiting the kiln
- Monitor scrubbers and other environmental control equipment
- Perform general labor tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting as required
- Maintain safe, efficient, and continuous kiln operations during assigned shift
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or kiln operation experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor, including bending, stooping, and lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and ability to work night shift hours
