Credit Collections Coordinator
Mid-sized Company located in Plainview (Nassau County) is looking for experienced or entry-level administrative assistant for part time hourly work, salary commensurate with experience. Please provide salary requirements when responding.
The open position requires making collection calls and working with customers on resolving past due account balances. Collection experience helpful but not necessary. Strong customer service and document preparation/organizational skills required; mathematical ability and experience with Excel is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Making high volume collection calls to customers and providing customer service as needed.
- Reviewing customer accounts and becoming proficient in utilizing the Company’s database.
- Assisting Company Attorney in preparing legal documents for litigation or arbitration, negotiating with customers.
- Preparing and working with Excel tracking spreadsheets.
- Communication with outside agencies, attorneys, and municipalities, etc.
Requirements:
Provide excellent & considerate customer service. Punctual attendance. The ideal candidate will be a motivated worker and true “team player” with excellent communication skills
Position Monday - Friday (day shift) Part Time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
