Position Summary: General Rent-All is looking for a CDL licensed professional to be responsible for servicing rental equipment, performing repairs, & loading equipment. The team member will work to keep all equipment operational, clean, and organized to provide our customers reliability, consistency, and the highest standards possible. They will be responsible for basic service to the equipment after each rental as well as assisting with customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with small engines, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical system troubleshooting and repair.

What you will be doing!
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
§ Assists customer with the loading and unloading of equipment when necessary.
§ May also need to demonstrate safety features and operational features of the equipment.
§ Oversee the records management of all equipment.
§ Oversees “Ready to Rent” procedure.
§ Maintain warranties, preventative maintenance schedules and repair records.
§ Maintain an organized shop by returning tools and unused parts to the appropriate storage area; Deliver/pick-up of parts and equipment from various locations.
§ Schedule preventative maintenance work; Perform frequent service of rental items
§ Recommend equipment purchases and sales based on maintenance records and company utilization policy.
§ Clean, maintain and organize lawn & garden equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery
§ Schedule delegation of workload daily by prioritizing work orders for internal and external repairs.
§ Train new mechanics/technicians.
§ Meet with members of management to discuss policies, problems and make recommendations.
§ Stay informed of equipment failures and safety violations.
§ Attend update/tech classes.
§ Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form.
§ Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store.
§ Attend department, store, and safety meetings.
§ Perform other duties as requested.

§ Equipment troubleshooting and repair

§ Ability to operate Residential or Commercial lawn & garden equipment, Light and medium duty compact tractor & Skid loaders machinery

Education and Experience:
-Knowledge of lawn and garden machines, small tractors, or related equipment
- Valid Driver’s License required
- CDL License strongly preferred
- Must pass previous employment verification and background check
Physical Requirements:
§ Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
§ Must pass company drug screen.
Work Environment:
Must stand for long periods of time. Most work will be indoors with limited exposure to outside elements. The job requires constant interaction with the public. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents.
