General Propeller Company, a marine manufacturer and distributor, is seeking an energetic, technical, outgoing, and self-motivated person to join our office staff. Some previous marine related sales or customer service experience would be helpful, but not required. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction
- Assist with product selections
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell products and services to meet customer needs while maximizing sales opportunities
- Invoice Customers
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual (English/Spanish) settings
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities and supervisory skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive customer interactions
This is a permanent, full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Some fill in for outside sales/delivery may be required, so a clean driving record is a must.
