We’re looking for someone with an outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and a can-do attitude. Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred, as many of our valued customers are Spanish-speaking. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for some of our most valued customers — building relationships, solving problems, and helping them find exactly what they need.
You’ll work closely with the Outside Sales Reps and other departments to make sure our customers are taken care of and that their experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Schedule: Five day workweek, with split days off. Sunday is a required work day, shift is off on Saturdays.
Primary Purpose:
The Inside Sales Representative provides extraordinary customer service to assigned accounts with large purchase volumes and special requests for products. He/she maintains and increases the sales of a given account base and brings in new accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct sales primarily through phone, email and online channels.
- Build customer relationships while demonstrating products and services.
- A solid understanding of sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Provide extraordinary customer service by exceeding customers’ expectations in the following areas:
- Know the nature of the customers’ business
- Establish rapport
- Maintain a working knowledge on the products they carry.
- Ensure that special needs and requests are fulfilled.
- Offer new products for consideration and suggestions on how to use them.
- Handle customer service calls with efficiency and accuracy.
- Input sales orders on the computer system with accuracy.
- Keep customer profiles updated.
- Process and follow up on credits as needed.
- Back up for the receptionist as needed.
- New Accounts – work with Account Managers to understand the new account, when they plan to start and who will be the contact person. Keep the Account Manager and Supervisor updated on any issues with the account.
- Reports to Supervisor on a regular basis or as requested.

- Complies with all safety and security regulations and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent. Prior sales skills are preferred and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Language Skills:
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, coworkers, customers, and the general public.
