What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Tech - Puller (Day and Night Shift) position at General Plastics & Composites LP?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Demold composite parts by use of hydraulic puller.
- Complete paperwork as required
- Use of overhead crane
- Move pallets of material by using pallet jack
- Labor in/out using data collect
- Close production orders and create labels
- Put away tooling in proper storage location
- Sweep and Mop floors as required
- Work closely with other departments to determine priorities
- Maintain 5S standards
- Follow all work procedures for the area
- Comply with all safety and company policies
- No Experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 45lbs
- Must be able to wear all required PPE
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions
- Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials
- Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies
