General Packaging Corporation, a privately-held regional packaging manufacturer, is seeking to hire an experienced Forklift Driver. This is an important full-time position located at the company's warehouse in Conroe, TX. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport lumber material, finished goods, and raw materials within the facility.
- Load and unload materials from production lines, and storage areas according to schedule
- Stack, stage, and organize corrugated products in accordance with safety and space optimization guidelines
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse and production areas
- Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with production supervisors, machine operators, and warehouse personnel
- Occasional lifting (not more than 40lbs)
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation and valid and active drivers license
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
- Minimum (2) years of forklift and warehouse experience is required
- Must be able to operate sit down forklift (We can provide certification)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone and email)
- Attentiveness, patience and attention to detail
- Ability to handle large workload
- Problem solving skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work effectively with other team members

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
